When you work with Space Age Closets, it is free. We won’t charge you for your initial consultation. Instead, you can meet with our design experts without worrying about the kind of bill you’ll see. We think that is important so that you can feel confident in choosing us and in understanding your budget before you commit to anything.
It is so critical to know what your finished closet or other storage project will look like before you give us the green light to create and install it. We will show you detailed mock-ups that will help you envision the new closet in its space so that you can be confident that you’ll like it.
We work with custom projects and a huge range of people with different needs. That means that, while there is an average cost, knowing it won’t really help you understand what your custom closet will cost. That will all depend on size, materials, and other design specifics. But we can help you estimate the costs once we know what you need.
Design consultations vary in length, depending on how quickly we can understand you and what you need. Some people have more complex projects in mind, and they need more time. Still, you should plan for anything from a half-hour to an hour for this initial talk. Remember, it’s free.
That’s a great question. Who doesn’t want to get more clothes into their closet or their bedroom? However, the answer really depends on what you’re working with in terms of space and clothing. Someone who has a dress collection will need a different solution than someone who has a lot of shoes.
It depends on your needs. Really, that’s one of the best things about the custom storage solutions we offer here. We don’t pretend that there is a set depth that will fit everyone’s needs. Instead, we can help you decide how deep your closet should be–and not someone else’s.
They absolutely can, but it is never a guarantee. We find that thoughtful, properly proportioned custom closets are attractive to buyers, but what they’re willing to pay for them in dollars really depends on the market and even their individual needs. A real estate agent can help you assess the relative value of custom closets.
There is a huge range of woods available for custom closets, so many that you can be sure you’ll get a wood that you like and that can withstand the environment it is in, whether it is exposed to snow from your boots or heat from electronics. We can help you choose the right wood.
When your custom storage designer is creating your walk-in closet, they should have your budget in mind, first and foremost. That means that if you feel like your closet should cost less, they have done a poor job. Let them know where you want your closet to end up price-wise, and they can redesign it.
