Is Quality Important To You?

We often get asked why our product are so much better than any other company? It’s like asking why a croissant from a grocery store is cheaper than one from a bakery. One uses the best possible ingredients while the other tries its best to simulate quality.

Over the years, we have found that the best manner to create a quality product is to start with quality ingredients. All of our boards that we use are Canadian-sourced and made from Canadian materials. The boards that we use are 3/4″ in thickness or thicker and furniture grade, not at all like the products you get from a box store.

All of our cabinets are custom made, not one comes from a foreign country in a box. Our designers work diligently at a client’s home to measure and guarantee that the fit is perfect. This is why we love creating custom cabinetry, we can see the happy faces of our clients at seeing how perfect the cabinetry fits into their home.

When it comes to hardware, we use the best quality we can find in the industry. This is why the slides on our drawers work perfectly and are soft-close as well. Same can be said our door hardware as well. There’s nothing worst than a drawer or door that slams loudly shut. Sometimes it’s worth all of the effort to hear clients exclaim how pleased they are about the cabinets and their quietness.

I know this may sound like common sense but as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for! There are lots of cheaper cabinetry out there but are they custom? Are they Canadian made? Are they made from Canadian sources? It all comes down to knowing what you’re paying. We all know if you go to the dollar store that you’re not going to get the best quality available. This is the same with any that you purchase.

We have found over the years that our best client is one that has done their research and knows the difference from buying what is easily available in a box as opposed to something that is completely custom. An educated client, or product savvy client, is our best client where quality is important.

Strangely enough, when we create Murphy Beds and the cabinetry that goes with them, we always tell clients that the hardware used is an original and authentic Murphy brand. There are lots of knock-offs and fakes out in the market. Often we get calls wanting to fix Murphy beds but we find out in the process, that they are not Murphy beds but wall beds made by an off-shore company. Again, you get what you pay for!

Something else you should consider is that our designers have decades of experience. Our lead designer for example has over forty years of experience, isn’t that amazing? Again, this is something that is going to be part of your home for decades, you need the best working on it and we offer the best.
