There are a few essentials you’ll have to consider when creating a bar. First of all there are three areas that need to be addressed:

Whether you use mirror (the ladies seem to like this), the same material as the counter top or even some tile, this is an area you should use to enhance the display of your bottle storage. Below the counter, the cabinets there should be used for storing items not as pretty above and more utilitarian.
When you’re behind your bar, you are the showman. You’ll need a nice table top, where you normally serve your drinks, so that you can show off your mixology. This is also a great place to put out your various appetizers and other accessories. You can either use the same counter as you have on the back of your bar for this area or try something different and really show some razzle dazzle.
